Background: The Knowledge-to-Action (KTA) Cycle is an example of a knowledge translation framework.  One of the first steps of the KTA Cycle is assessing the Know-Do Gap, the difference between research recommendations and clinical practice.  The purpose of this study was to assess the Know-Do Gap of occupational therapy outcome assessment in adults with neurologic conditions being seen in an outpatient clinical setting.
Methods/Materials: One neurologic outpatient occupational organization with three clinical sites is engaged in this study. A retrospective medical record review of initial evaluation documentation from a six month period (June 2021-December 2021) is currently underway
Analysis: 178 OT evaluations, performed by 5 occupational therapists, are being reviewed
Results: Pending, however, currently investigating the # and types of outcome measures used during the 6 month reporting period. Additional descriptive statistical analysis pending.
Conclusions: Pending results
Limitations: Pending
Implications to Practice: Pending
